Having chanting interrupted in battle is often fatal, making rings such as these prized since before the Ancient War. On old battlefields you may even find one of these with a finger bone still inside, a grisly hint at the best way to cancel their protection, while no other bones in the vicinity indicates the subsequent eradication of the original owner.
